ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦੀ ਮੁਹਿੰਮ “ਯੁੱਧ ਨਸ਼ਿਆਂ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ” ਤਹਿਤ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਬਰਨਾਲਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਡਿਪਟੀ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨਰ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਟੀ ਬੈਨਿਥ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਹੇਠ ਮੈਡੀਕਲ ਸਟੋਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਚੈਕਿੰਗ ਮੁਹਿੰਮ ਵੱਡੇ ਪੱਧਰ ‘ਤੇ ਜਾਰੀ ਹੈ।ਡਰੱਗ ਕੰਟਰੋਲ ਅਫ਼ਸਰ ਬਰਨਾਲਾ ਮੈਡਮ ਪਰਨੀਤ ਕੌਰ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਸਾਂਝੇ ਤੌਰ ‘ਤੇ ਚੈਕਿੰਗ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ। ਚੈਕਿੰਗ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਮੀਰਾ ਫਾਰਮੇਸੀ, ਨਵਾਂ ਬੱਸ ਸਟੈਂਡ ਰੋਡ, ਬਰਨਾਲਾ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾਂ ਲਾਇਸੈਂਸ ਦੇ 2,42,571 ਰੁਪਏ ਮੁੱਲ ਦੀਆਂ 15 ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਦਵਾਈਆਂ ਜ਼ਬਤ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਗਈਆਂ ਅਤੇ 3 ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਸੈਂਪਲ ਲਏ ਗਏ। ਓਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਸੈਂਪਲ ਟੈਸਟਿੰਗ ਲਈ ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਲੈਬ ਖਰੜ ਵਿਚ ਭੇਜ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਗਏ ਹਨ। ਜ਼ਬਤ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਦਵਾਈਆਂ ਅਦਾਲਤ ਵਿਚ ਪੇਸ਼ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਜਾਣਗੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਦਵਾਈਆਂ ਦੇ ਕਸਟਡੀ ਆਰਡਰ ਲਏ ਜਾਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਫਰਮ ਨੂੰ ਕਾਰਨ ਦੱਸੋ ਨੋਟਿਸ ਜਾਰੀ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾਣਗੇ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ ਤਪਾ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਦੇ ਸਹਿਯੋਗ ਨਾਲ ਆਸ਼ੂ ਜਨਰਲ ਸਟੋਰ ਤਪਾ ਤੋਂ 1 ਦਵਾਈ (19500 ਰੁਪਏ ਕੀਮਤ ਦੀ) ਜ਼ਬਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਅਤੇ ਆਕਸੀਟੋਸਿਨ (ਮੱਝਾਂ ਦੇ ਟੀਕਿਆਂ ) ਦਾ ਸੈਂਪਲ ਲਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਲੈਬ ਖਰੜ ਭੇਜ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਓਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਰਿਪੋਰਟ ਆਉਣ ‘ਤੇ ਅਗਲੀ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ।
